Pincus, Louis Arieh
(1912-73)
   Israeli lawyer and Zionist, of South African Origin. In 1948 he moved to Israel where he became a legal adviser and general secretary to the ministry of transportation. Later he was appointed managing director of El Al. In 1961 he became a member of the executive of the Jewish Agency. He was acting chairman of the 27th Zionist Congress, and served as chairman of the board of governors of Tel Aviv University.
